I like to think of "TEAM DANTONA" as a NASCAR racing team. To have a successful race it requires a true team effort; everyone must give a 100% at all times. Believe me there is tremendous behind the scenes action, in order to win the race!!!!
TEAM DANTONA is what makes DANTONA INDUSTRIES a great company. It starts with the management team of "Sal and Donny" and continues to us, the employees. It's about how 35 people-all working in different but equally important capacities within the company work together towards a common goal-doing the best that we possibly can at all possible times. This is our team- "TEAM DANTONA."
This page is not about selling batteries. This page is here to introduce all of us to all of you, the people that we speak to every day, our customers and our friends. Most of you have already met Sal and Don at various trade shows. They are our bosses (and by the way they hate being called bosses.) They basically own, manage, & race the car. It is because of them that we have heart; they give us the room to be people first. In turn it gives all of you an opportunity to get to know us better. Have you ever noticed that the phone never rings more than three times before being answered? That's because of Lisa, Tracie Lyn, Karen and Pat. These four people do so much to make the office run smoothly, they are not just operators; answering the phones is only the beginning of their jobs. They make it possible for the sales team to field the calls.
Speaking of the sales team, there's Paul, John, Greg, Jamie and Jim. They are the ones that have to know all about the many different types of batteries, and believe me there are a lot of different batteries. We all work in close proximity to each other so that we can help each other and in turn help you, our customers. By the way, when one of us (Greg, Jamie or Jim) put you on hold, we are probably asking either Paul Dantona or John Dantona a battery question. If these guys don't have the answer.forget about it-nobody does!
After your order is taken by one of the sales team, its progress has only just begun. Lisa, Tracie Lyn, Pat or Karen have to process and print the order. Mr. D. (that's Mr. Dantona-you know-Sal, Don, Paul and John's Dad) checks for the correct shipping address and then get that order to the warehouse where the real fun begins. Mr. D.'s job does not stop there. He oversees the whole warehouse operation and production department. The reason why we refer to ourselves as "TEAM DANTONA" is simple, we must function as a team, or your orders will not get to you correctly and in a timely manner.
As orders enter the warehouse to be filled, many people handle them. There is Mrs. D. (Yea you guessed it, the boys' Mom) who by the way is one great baker. Allen runs the warehouse; he knows where everything is. Then again there is Tom, Billy, Pasquale, Brian, PDA John, Margarita, Altragracia, Sergio, Ed and Danny. Ed gives a final check to every order that goes out ensuring that you get what you ordered.
Did I mention "custom battery packs?" There's Billy, Chowtee, Gerry, Lisa, Tom, Big Ed and RC Tom, they all work together making those unique battery packs for your customers. And yes, there's Frank, Howie, PDA John and Mark who pack and seal your order, getting it ready to be shipped to you.
Well that's the family-"TEAM DANTONA." I know the concept of a team sounds a bit hokey and so does the word family-buts it's really not-because we are one big "Family." It's fun to see the genesis of an order, how many hands each and every order goes through. You must be a team otherwise you would have problems. Nobody and Everybody is a superstar-we are a team-we can all make it great if we work together.
By the way, did anyone tighten the lug nuts on the bosses' wheels?
I sure hope so!!!!!!
